As the National tree of Wales, the Royal Oak is famous for being the hiding place of King Charles II during the Battle of Worcester in 1651.
An oak sapling, grown from one of the Son's acorns and is thus a grandson of the original Royal Oak was planted by Charles, Prince of Wales in 2001. Symbolising strength and endurance, the mighty Oak is often associated with Royalty.
Inspired by the tree's significance in British history, the Royal Clogau Oak collection locket has been expertly handcrafted and and enclosed within is a solid silver acorn.
